I am currently an Assistant Professor in Psychology at the University of New Hampshire. Find out more about my lab here!
Before coming to UNH, I was a NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh and the Center for Neural Basis of Cognition. I received a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Carnegie Mellon University, where I worked with Dr. Lori Holt. My research examines how we learn about the complex sensory world. I use a computational cognitive science framework to understand (1) how we learn by interacting in naturalistic environments in pursuit of complex goals, (2) individual differences in learning processes and outcomes, and (3) how prior experiences shape perceptual representations and constrain learning. |
